Most recently, Vulture has been assigned to escort duty of Imperial aid shipments to Caspar during the Union-Republic scandal. An engagement with the raider vessel Crimson Lightning resulted in the destruction of Vulture's TIE complement and the capture of the Navy-owned Action VI Corulag Haul. Vulture inflicted light damage on the pirate craft while receiving none in return forcing a withdrawal and preventing the loss of further assets.
