Toyohashi (豊橋市) is a city located in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded in 1900. In 1944, Toyokawa had merged with Toyohashi and was divided into three districts upon joining. Today, Toyohashi is the second-largest city in Aichi Prefecture while the city of Toyota, Aichi Prefecture is at a third largest city with having 423,743 population.
