The three books are read by William Russell, who played Ian Chesterton in the three stories featured. The recordings were enhanced with music score and special effects by Simon E Power. The accompanying sleeve notes also reproduced the illustrations from inside the books as well as covers from different editions. Each used the Chris Achilleos Target edition covers on both the CD jewel cases and individual CDs.
