Wolf Hedgehog is a hedgehog species that is native to Europe, but was introduced to North America. They are named because of their ears (which resembles that of a wolf) and their aggression towards mice, rats, and other small mammals and even killing and eating their bodies once killed. In North America, they are considered as pests due to preying on pet mice, rats, hamsters, and sometimes Guinea pigs, as well as some native small wild animals, because of this, they are listed as among the 100 worst invasive species.
