Colonial architecture is common, cars are oldtimers, from the 1940s at the latest, and the main export seems to be bananas. Romera's original political system is uncertain, but in all settings, it was conquered at some point by an imperial power. The territory Romera is located on is Gondwana, and the nation itself is the result of colonists wrestling the land from the hands of its original inhabitants, which however still exist deep in the jungle, beyond the reaches of civilization, as the Tlalocan faction.
