Carwen, originally romanized Caerwyn and also Carwyn and Kerwin, is a location in Final Fantasy V. It is a prosperous port town located north of Walse and south of the North Mountain. It is accessible on both Bartz's World and Merged World. Bartz Klauser and the rest of the Warriors of Light arrive to Carwen coming directly from the Ship Graveyard. There the party picks up rumors of sightings of Lenna's wind drake, Hiryuu, at the Northern Mountains, which prompts them to search for him there.
