Burikka Hakumei Akegata is a Kami who was once the First Captain of the Third Division in the Gotei 13, before which serving as a general in the Shinigami Order, the organization which preceeded the Gotei 13. During the climax of the Quincy Blood War Burikka betrayed Soul Society, joined with his comrades Shikyo Fushiawase, Zentaitoshitenkushimi Sonodeddo Banbutsunoreichou, and Higamoppi Fushiawase, whom he helped to create the Balance Breakers organization.
