Canicula Palpatine was the wife of Utapau Senator Malus Palpatine during the Invasion of Utapau. She was well known throughout the Galactic Republic, having garnered the reputation of being a stuck-up elitist who only cared about material and superficial wealth. Because of that, there were very few who were said to have liked her or approved of her, and at times she was a political hindrance to Senator Palpatine as opponents attempted to link him to that lifestyle.
