Ronu II was a planet that remained unexploited by the galaxy for the vast majority of history. It was a lush, green world, full of marvelous jungles and large, grassy plains. The world was thought to be completely unexplored until 16 ABY, when the Jedi Knight Jerik Blackthorne ventured there to seek out means to destroy the dark side of the Force. Those who ventured near the planet could feel the laden dark side energies steaming from the surface. The presence was strong enough to ward off even the bravest, strongest of Jedi, leaving the planet untouched.
