Koehnes is Fey's handmaiden. Her full name appears to be "Koehnes with the Heart of the Earth." She's a minor earth spirit, and just showed up one day. She's fairly young, about 3000 years old. Chaka's breezy informality does not sit well with her idea of the proper way to behave around a Queen.
