The July 2009 Election took place on July 8th, 2009. The election was notable in that neither the DLSP or the PCP contested the election, following the collapse of the 3rd Cieran Government. The election saw a landslide for the newly formed Ad Astra Per Aspera Party, and is generally considered to be a re-aligning election. Parties which failed to win seats in both this election and the previous election are not shown. Seat difference is based on the results of the previous election and does not take defections and by-elections into account.
