Hydran wine was a variety of wine manufactured by the Hydrans, with fermented grape juice and blueberry juice, giving it a blue-red tint. Annika Hansen drank a Château Meidum 247 vintage during her wedding ceremony. She also kept an entire barrel of the wine in the captain's wine cellar. She commented that, while the Château Meidum was a decent table wine, it was no better than mead. Likewise, the Bajoran artist onboard said that, just as the Bouteina was the only Romulan ship to have Hydran wine on its wine list, the USS Enterprise-E was the only ship in Starfleet to serve Chateau Picard.
