Jake Myar was a Kuati officer in Admiral Dergan Roj's Fleet and who later served as a Sar Admiral and head of the Admiralty for the Caspian Navy. He had been the captain of the heavy cruiser Daring and was assigned to the newly-formed Admiralty as an assisting admiral by Teodore Poole, Roj's aide. The move was made to "keep an eye on [Elijah] Taylor", whom Roj, Poole, and Fraser never fully trusted. Other galactic events would intervene, though, and at some point in the presavship of Avalyshaar Dusten, Myar resigned from the Admiralty and departed Caspia for the Core Worlds.
