The Gemarians were a race native to Gemaris V. In 2366, Captain Jean-Luc Picard mediated in a trade dispute between the Gemarians and their neighbors, the Dachlyds. After two weeks of extensive negotiations, he finally reached an agreement, despite the Gemarians being described as an extremely stubborn race. (TNG: "Captain's Holiday" ) This species was only mentioned in dialogue.
