In 2 ABY, a Golan Space Colony that orbited Arcopola was infected by the Blackwing plague by the Galactic Empire as part of a plot to make the Alliance to Restore the Republic seem malicious. Grand Moff Ozzaris Vlanc discovered the plot, and was appalled by the idea. In response, he sent dozens of Stormtrooper squads to contain the threat and evacuate as many citizens as possible.
