The Gul'at-class was a proposed design for a new type of battleship for the Cardassian Union. Design for the class began before the Dominion War but the conflict derailed the project. The fate of the class remained in limbo after the war as various factions struggled for control of the Union and there was no guarantee the eventual winner would decide to continue with the project.
