Klompa can be defeated by using the Prince's acrobatic abilities to climb ledges, jump onto Klompa's head. To do this, the player must initiate the Speed Kill ability first blinding Klompa by stabbing him in each eye, and then stabbing him in the head and down his back, causing him to disintegrate into sand. Despite his size, defeating him is made fairly simple for the Prince.
