Sigma radiation slows down zerg movement and reaction speeds by up to 50%. The primal zerg are also vulnerable to its effects as well. The radiation was discovered by the United Earth Directorate, and psi disruptors invented by Egon Stetmann generated this radiation to weaken the zerg. This radiation was later implemented by the Terran Dominion into their psi block in order to slow zerg speed and reaction time.
