Lady Maya Celia was the princess of the fungi inhabiting Fern's first of many corpses. Until Doctor E.M. Balmer showed up and purged it of life to sell it as a tourist trap. Celia escaped the fate of her kingdom and escaped to corpse after corpse, even as Balmer destroyed them, until, eventually, she met Fern herself.
