Production of these toys first began in 2008 with the Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo! series, with dolls measuring only about 17cm tall. Dolls released since then, starting with the Fresh Pretty Cure! series, have been made larger, measuring around 25-29cm. In 2012, extra large dolls measuring around 42cm have also been produced. All dolls are released by BANDAI and copyrighted by ABC Toei Animation.
