Activision has just confirmed that Jimi Hendrix music will be featured as downloadable content for Guitar Hero: World Tour. Songs that will be featured include the likes of "The Wind Cries Mary", "Purple Haze", and, according to GamePro, others. Apparently this will be the first video game in which Jimi Hendrix music appears. This is seemingly a good grab for the company, as it's assumed that Rock Band 2 will not get this.
