Stephen Brown is an Australian rugby league player and coach. He played junior football for Newtown Rugby League Club in Toowoomba and Souths Rugby League Club in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. He played first grade Rugby League for Palmwoods Rugby League Club on the Sunshine Coast under coach Gary Pearson. He moved to Brisbane in 1983 where he played third grade, reserve grade and first grade for Northern Suburbs Rugby League Club under coach Ray Cattanach, Bob Poulsen & Barry Muir.
