Hendrick had survived the infection and the attack of those infected with the Redlight virus. Along with those of his surviving men, Hendrick had moved to a bunker built by Blackwatch for the protection of its personnel. When he was contacted by Lieutenant Randall, Hendrick suggested that securing the town's hospital was their best hope for extraction. The hospital, however, was barricaded by Walkers. Hendrick, along with Randall and their teams combined, secured the town's hospital along with Elizabeth Greene and her child who were present at the hospital.
