In 2002 and 2005 he received Golden Horse Award nominations in the category Best Visual Effects at the Golden Horse Film Festival for his work on the mystery thriller Shuang tong (2002) and the fantasy film Qi Jian (2005). For both films he also received Hong Kong Film Award nominations in the category Best Visual Effects. In 2010, Webb was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the category Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special for his work on the television mini series The Pacific, shared with John E. Sullivan and Jerry Pooler. In 2012 he received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Visual Effects from the Australian Film Institute for his work on the action film Sanctum (2011).
