In May 2002, roughly one year after the end of the Digimon Tamers TV show, fanfiction author Daneel Rush began working on a small Rukato project in an attempt to overcome the writer's block he was suffering over his Chosen series. What started out as a simple romantic comedy side project would soon evolve to become one of his most well known and in-depth series. But this is not Takato's true power. The scale intensifies as Takato must not only combat the chaotic force within him but also the ruthless Digimon who seek to acquire the power of the OmniTamer for themselves.
