Azevedo was a male Federation Starfleet officer on active service in the early 25th century. At some point between 2398 and 2404 Azevedo served aboard the USS Excalibur as tactical officer at the same time Tyria Sark was assigned to the ship as a conn officer. In 2407 he held the rank of commander and was first officer of the USS Warsaw, but suffered a brain injury and had to be medically discharged. In a lucid period he recommended Tyria Sark to his CO, Sirin Tev, as his replacement. (The War of the Masters: "The Silence Ends")
