Womp Rats squad was a Rebel Alliance military unit consisting of eight veteran soldiers. They had orders to retrieve an unknown object after the Battle of Taul. They participated in the subsequent skirmish on Taul, and the members of the squad were armed with blaster carbines. One member of the squad was a specialist who carried grenades. The group continued to exist until the time of Second Imperial Civil War.
