Written by Boogey Toumon (蕪木統文) and illustrated by HACCAN, this novel was published by Enterbrain's Famitsu Bunko imprint in August 2003. Boogey is also known for writing two novels based on Kahn, three Devil Summoner novels, the sequel novel to Maken X called After Strange Days, and later Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou tai Shibito Ekishi. In this adaptation, the Demi-fiend is named Shin Managi (間薙 シン).
