AA50-42 is a 1942 scenario for the Axis & Allies 50th Anniversary Edition. Even though the Axis controls more ground than the 1941 scenario, the situation favors the Allies due to their greater forces. Egypt is a key area, if the Axis takes it, the British position in the Middle East is undermined, allowing the Axis to open up a 3rd front against Russia.
