A small village at the edge of Lake Dunan, Lakewest specializes in fishing. It is well known for its production of seaweed and various dried fish. Due to the small size of the village, the small inn in the center of town is often the perfect place for gamblers, fugitives, and other unsavoury types. Lakewest is also the home of Taki, an eccentric old woman who dispenses odd, and sometimes unwelcome, advice to anyone who passes by. In addition, the village is also known as the home of the largest bath in the Dunan Republic, due to the efforts of master bath builder Tetsu.
