Starkiller's mind wiping had little affect on his fighting skills, if anything, those violent images seemed to strengthen the mindset of Juyo, one of Starkiller's, now Lord Starkiller's, preferred lightsaber styles. This was just one of the many things that the would-be assassin would learn under the watchful eye of Sidious, which he had learned his name to be. In the many training sessions with him he would be rigorous, but not in the same way as with Vader. While Vader's training was more physical, Sidious would be more physiclogical. When Vader beat him at duels, he would punish him physicaly, but when Sidious beat him, he would cast demoralizing insults, encouraging the assassin to let hate fuel his actions.
