The Regal Sword (リガルソード Rigaru sōdo) is a unique sword that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. A gift that Ike receives from his father, the Regal Sword is effective against both armoured and mounted units, inflicting twice the normal amount of damage against such units. The Regal Sword's stats are identical to the more common Rapier that manifests in a majority of the other titles in the Fire Emblem Series, and can thus be perceived to be the Path of Radiance incarnation of said weapon. In comparison to the Iron Sword, the Regal Sword is clearly the more potent of the two, complete with its possession of higher Might and lower Weight - Making it an extremely valuable weapon during the early stages of the game, when Ike's Strength is still rather low.
