Melissa Solters was the wife of John Solters and mother of Jeremy and Amanda Solters. She worked for Crosstime Traffic and traveled to Agrippan Rome along with her family as a trader, to the operation in Polisso, Dacia Province. She provided moral support to Amanda when she was depressed about the problem of slavery in the alternate. She soon fell sick and was taken to the home timeline, her husband accompanying her. They left their children behind. Soon after the adults' departure, the children lost contact with the home timeline and were left on their own.
