Souji Tanimoto is the genius of the Golden Heart DigiDestined and the Golden Heart Army. He is the son of Jordan Tanimoto, a principal and Sandra Tanimoto, his stepmother. Depsite being the youngest of the DigiDestined, he is the smartest of them. Souji was at school studying until he gets Azulongmon's message, and takes him to the Digital World and met Dorumon. Souji's dream is to be a college principal. Souji seems to have a crush on Wendy Takahashi. Souji is very curious and independant, as he always read the history of other things. Souji is often compared to Koushiro from Adventure.
