Cryptids (幻獣, genjuu) are a species from a different plane that started to appear during the Phantasmal Blaze Plan in Crossbell and Erebonia. The nomads of the Nord Highlands know them as otherworldy beasts said to appear at turning points in history when the world is out of balance. In Sen no Kiseki II, all cryptids except for Unsurtr drop a Lost Arts quartz when defeated.
