Joseph Bell is a doctor/surgeon/teacher who teaches classes at the medical school at the University of Edinburgh. Bell is an eccentric doctor who uses deductive reasoning to discover what is wrong with his patients, as well as being able to deduce there life story. Unbeknownst to most people at the university, Bell consults with the police on difficult to solve murder cases. Bell worked alone on cases until he invited his labtech Arthur Conan Doyle to join him, after Doyle was spotted following him.
