The bridge of a Federation starship is the ship's command center or command post. At any given time, it's probably where the majority of the senior staff will be found, and is usually the working home of the commanding officer, executive officer, counselor, chief science officer, chief tactical officer/chief of security, and chief of operations/helm control.
