The United Kingdom was a nation existing on the British Isles in north-western Europe. It owned at one point the largest empire in history. After defeat in World War I, the British Union of Fascists took power in Britain and started World War II after invading Ireland. The country was eventually invaded and occupied by France, Germany and Ireland. Although officially withdrawn from in 1993, the country experienced long civil war and has not re-united.
