Nacine is a village located in Southmoor. It was founded in the Third Cycle by Lord Drien as a part of a massive building project that later fell apart. Nacine has a large population of Vallista inhabitants, many of whom are descendants of those who were hired for the original project. This is the nearest major town to where Castle Black usually floats. This is also the first major town that Zerika the Fourth entered after recovering the Orb from the Paths of the Dead. This event is still celebrated in Nacine with an annual festival which bears little relation to the actual facts of her visit.
