The Ashokan Republic is the spiritual successor to the Republic of India, headed by the capable President Ashiran Gandhi. The Republic have numerous skirmishes every year with the Empire of the Dragon over territorial disputes. The Republic is allied to the Great Union, but holds itself apart from the war between the Union and the Neo-Soviet Union.
