This is implied to occur due to the sword's memories of Kuro Neele's power overwhelming his son's willpower. Once Izar's power grew, this form became nothing more than a memory as the Sche'ra Za'de attuned itself to Izar, it's true master and the one being it was forged for. Regardless, this form was a testament to Kuro's power and thus his enemies came to fear Kuro should he ever unleash his true powers.
