OOM-500 was an OOM command battle droid before and during the Invasion of Naboo. As an OOM command droid, OOM-500 had many abilities that outmatched fellow droid commander OOM-9, who had similar abilities but was not as wise as OOM-500. OOM-500 helped his men succeed in many Naboo invasions. However, he was corrupt and the Occupation Council feared that he would overthrow the Trade Federation.
