The Library houses some of the oldest books in the world, and is also one of the most sophisticated and technologically advanced buildings in town. It's proprietor, Prudence Kircher-Dee, rules the library with an iron fist. The small library is known throughout the book collecting world as being a private enterprise, although it also receives public funding as part of the public library system.
