The 1960 Firecracker 250 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Daytona International Speedway on July 4, 1960. Jack Smith won his third and final race of the year in dominating fashion, leading 67 of 100 laps and holding off Cotton Owens to the line. Rex White finished 6th in route to the season championship.
