One of Meimei's premier abilities that was granted to her by her mangekyo is a downpour of rain. Focusing in on the opponent(s), Meimei creates a storm cloud over their heads, which continues to fill until releasing upon the opponent a downpour of rain darker than the a night sky void of moonlight. This rain/water has the ability to both blind the attacker and poison them, if swallowed or kept in repeated contact. The technique does render a temporary blinding effect on the user as well, causing their eye that manipulates the technique to go dark. The water itself can be manipulated through a medium otherwise known as the Wave Release.
