Terachuk was the first of five inhabited bodies in the Norpha System. Its native species were the long-lived and calm horse-people known as the Chakur. A giant planet, Terachuk was over 9 times the size of Coruscant, making its large population hard to notice due to the space that they are able to spread across. Its moons were the only other inhabitable bodies within the Norpha system. The Chakur strictly enforce their 'Limited Immigration Act' which only allows for a maximum of 20,000 Immigrants per Terachuk year which lasted for roughly about 2 galactic standard years. They do this to preserve the nature of their planet as the Chakur do not allow industrialization upon their planet and those that attempt to bring or build industry upon their planet are either exiled or executed.
