The Black Curs were a band of smugglers and outlaws who formed together six months after the Battle of Endor with the express purpose of getting revenge on the Galactic Empire for the crimes they committed. As such, they worked closely with the New Republic, providing them with recon information on Imperial actions with the hope that the information would lead to the Empire's destruction. They fought in the Battle of Hensara.
