Westerwood is an area in the north-east of the new town of Cumbernauld, Scotland. In the past decade or so, new housing developments have been built around a golf course designed by famed Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros. The golf course includes a 4* hotel that is currently being expanded to cater for more guests. Westerwood Golf Course backs onto Cumbernauld airfield.
