A graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University, Arisu began to write songs in the 1980s, and continued to work into the 1990s and the 2000s. She has written lyrics for songs for actors and artists such as Mitsuko Horie, Kazue Itoh, Hiromi Iwasaki, and Zoo. Arisu also worked on songs for other anime series. She is still active to this day.
