The Stone Flutes are large monoliths in the middle of the solitary plains. They are encountered by Halt, Will, and Gilan in The Ruins of Gorlan. They are probably based on the English stone circle of Stonehenge or the Callanish Stones located near the village of Callanish (Western Isles of Scotland).
